Abstract

This talk will discuss the role of virtual exchange in strengthening student learning in statistics and data science, with particular attention to the development of analytical, collaborative, and communication skills in quantitatively oriented settings.

Speaker

Dr. Wanchunzi Yu is Associate Professor of Mathematics at Bridgewater State University. She received her PhD in Statistics from Arizona State University. Her research interests include design of experiments, generalized linear models, and mixed models. Her teaching includes courses such as Regression Analysis, Mathematical Statistics, and Analysis of Variance.
