Steps to Access and Use WolframCloud
| Step | Instruction |
|---|---|
| Step 1 | Go to https://www.wolframcloud.com/ |
| Step 2 | Use your BSU credentials to sign up for free |
| Step 3 | Once you have access to WolframCloud, you should be able to install the Desktop version |
| Step 4 | You will get to your notebook on Cloud. It is super cool |
| Step 5 | Click on New Chat-Enabled Notebook |
| Step 6 | You will need an OpenAI API key. You might need an OpenAI account for this and this is not free, unfortunately. It is however pretty cheap. |
| Step 7 | Type in natural language in the blue box some clear instructions. Wolfram Cloud will translate your input into a Mathematica code that is correct. Hover your mouse over the code and click on `copy to clipboard’ to proceed with your coding |
| Additional Steps | If the above method does not work, please follow the steps below: Open Wolfram Cloud and ChatGPT-4 side by side on the same screen. You will need to switch between the two platforms: Ask ChatGPT-4 for assistance in writing Mathematica code for a specific task, then input your script into Wolfram Cloud or Mathematica. If an error occurs, copy and paste the error message into ChatGPT-4 to explore potential solutions. |
